The short version

Who is responsible

RoadVisa is a private, independent project based in the EU. For any question about your data, write to hello@roadvisa.net.

What stays on your device

RoadVisa remembers your last choices, such as the countries you picked and the tab you were on, so they're there next time. This is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

What the hosting provider sees

Like any website, RoadVisa is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare). To deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, their servers briefly process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We don't use this data to identify you.

Reports about wrong information

If you use "Wrong information? Help us fix it", we receive what you type, the page and section you were on, and the time. The form is delivered through Formspree. Please don't include personal details: we don't need them. We use reports only to check and correct RoadVisa, and delete them within 12 months.

Links to other sites

RoadVisa links to official websites. When you follow a link, that website's own privacy rules apply.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live. The European Data Protection Board lists them all (edpb.europa.eu).

Changes

If we add anything new, such as advertising, we'll update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
